Introduction

Mr. Millstein is an associate in the Seattle office of K&L Gates where he is a member of the firm's complex commercial disputes practice group. Mr. Millstein's practice focuses on litigation at the trial and appellate level in various matters, including municipal law, trademarks and copyrights, contracts, and real property. Mr. Millstein also has experience counseling and litigating matters relating to Washington's Public Records Act and Open Public Meetings Act for both governmental and private clients.

Biography

Mr. Millstein was a summer associate at K&L Gates in 2010. After law school, Mr. Millstein served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Justice Susan Owens of the Washington State Supreme Court, where he researched legal issues confronting the court, drafted bench memos, rulings, and dissents in a variety of civil, criminal, and attorney discipline cases. During law school, he worked as a judicial extern in the chambers of the Honorable Ann Aiken, the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Mr. Millstein also served as an extern in the Lane County District Attorney's office.
