Biography

Ms. Lynch has more than thirty-five years of association management and public policy advocacy experience in governmental, public and media relations. She is recognized as one of the most talented legislative and public affairs strategists in the business today, with a specialty in representing associations.

Ms. Lynch is founder and president of Lynch Associates, Inc., an independent association management, governmental advocacy and strategic consulting firm. Lynch Associates provides lobbying, strategic development and management consulting services to a wide array of clients. The firm has been particularly successful in representing associations from a very diverse number of business sectors including health care, public safety, education and commerce.

Lynch Associates also provides association management services. Ms. Lynch serves as the Executive Director for both state and regional organizations. In her capacity as Executive Director, not only does Ms. Lynch provide membership enhancement and marketing services, but she also advocates extensively on behalf of industry to federal and state legislators and agencies.

From 1978-1992, Ms. Lynch was the founder and President of Customized Association Services Inc., a governmental affairs and association management firm. Ms. Lynch provided clients with strategic planning, direct lobbying, administrative management, as well as grass roots coalition building. She also provided clients with membership development, trade show and exhibition management, public relations, advertising and collateral material development. Her experience is evidenced in the exceptional success of these events over years of continued representation. Customized Association Services Inc. was purchased in 1992.

Following that, she served as executive director and legislative counsel to the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys from 1993 to 1998. Ms. Lynch managed, directed and lobbied on all legislative matters relative to the statewide trial bar. These initiatives included auto insurance reform, medical malpractice insurance and the implementation of the Workers Compensation Reform act. During her leadership she increased membership of the Academy by 45% in two years.

Ms. Lynch represented a number of prominent professional societies, organizations and trade associations as lead legislative counsel and management consultant. Clients included the Public Relations Society of America–New England Chapter and the New England Hospital Public Relations Association. She has also represented the Massachusetts Auto Body Association, the Massachusetts Independent Auto Dealers Association, the Massachusetts Consumer Finance Association, the Massachusetts Association of Life Underwriters and the American Society of Home Inspectors – New England Chapter, to name a few. In addition, she has provided representation for public safety organizations such as the State Police of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association. Her work with the Health Care sector includes the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society, and the Visiting Nurse Association of New England to name a few. She currently serves as executive director and legislative counsel to several commercial transportation organizations, including the Massachusetts Motor Transportation Association, the Massachusetts Movers Association and other smaller groups.
