Kevin Marino Cabrera joins Southern Strategy Group after managing campaigns on both the State and Federal levels and serving his Miami-Dade community as a Councilman.

Kevin began his political career after many years in management and sales in the freight forwarding industry as a volunteer for Congressman Carlos Curbelo's 2014 congressional campaign and subsequently joining the campaign as its Field Director. Kevin later served as the Director of Constituent Services in Congressman Curbelo's district office. Kevin was then recruited to join Governor Jeb Bush's Presidential campaign as the South Florida Director, while also assisting with Hispanic outreach in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Most recently Kevin managed a Florida House campaign.

Active in the local community, Kevin served for many years on the Miami-Dade Republican Party Executive Committee. In 2015, Kevin was appointed by Commissioner Juan Zapata as a Councilman for West Kendall's Community Council in Miami Dade County, a local land use and zoning board. Kevin was subsequently elected to a full-term in 2016.

A native of Miami-Dade County, Kevin majored in Political Science with a minor in International Relations at Florida International University, graduating cum laude. Kevin is also a Honors graduate from Miami-Dade College where he received an Associate Degree in Public Administration.
