Biography

Brendan joined the GPS team in January 2016 and brings extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of the Connecticut General Assembly and the Executive Branch including tracking the progress of legislation and regulations, conducting research, mobilizing the grassroots and managing client relations.

Before joining GPS, Brendan served as Legislator Coordinator for the lobbying firm Sullivan & LeShane, Inc., where he worked with the government relations team and in client coordination and communication. Prior to joining Sullivan & LeShane, Inc., Brendan served as Assistant Clerk for the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee where he assisted in administrative duties and in conducting research for Committee members and the clerk.

Prior to that, Brendan worked at the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) as a Public Policy and Marketing Associate. His duties at CCM included working with public policy and advocacy staff and research staff. Brendan focused on legislative and regulatory issue policy development and also developed, organized and implemented advertising and marketing campaigns for CCM's non-dues income programs.

Brendan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
