Prior to joining DeMenna Public Affairs, John served as an Assistant to various Senators after joining the Arizona State Senate as a Page in 2013. During his time in the Senate, John developed a thorough understanding of the legislature and its processes.

In his previous tenure in the lobbying sector, John honed his experience in research, bill tracking and monitoring, legislative impact analysis, and client management.

As an assistant in the Senate, John worked directly with constituents to resolve issues, and connect them to the appropriate agencies with the tools to address their concerns. John also coordinated with research and policy staff on an array of legislative matters, and communicated policy and research recommendations to State policymakers.
